Armenia custode
Armenia, the land of crosses, is one of the oldest nations in the world and the first to adopt Christianity as its state religion.
The Armenian people are deeply rooted in ancient cultural and spiritual traditions, shaped over centuries by history, resilience, and identity. Yet they have also endured one of the greatest tragedies of the twentieth century: the 1915 genocide, in which more than one million Armenians were killed or forcibly deported, leaving a wound that remains deeply embedded in both personal and collective memory, perpetuated through contemporary tensions and conflicts.

Il popolo armeno è permeato da antiche tradizioni culturali e spirituali, forgiate attraverso secoli di storia, resilienza e identità, ma ha subito anche una delle più ampie tragedie del Novecento: il genocidio del 1915, nel quale oltre un milione di armeni furono uccisi o costretti alla deportazione, lasciando una ferita ancora custodita nella memoria intima e collettiva, che si perpetua nelle tensioni e conflitti contemporanei.
